Hidden in the narrow backstreets of Hoxton not two minutes from Rivington Place, this bookshop is a treasure trove of the obscure and the interesting. Stocking everything from best selling art titles, to out of print and special editions and covering topics from architecture to fashion to theory, the shelves are packed with otherwise hard to find reads, from home and abroad.
What’s more, the selection of magazines, journals and periodicals in this shop is second to none, with more art titles than I’ve seen anywhere else in London. Rest assured there is bound to be at least one magazine, glossy, periodical, journal or zine to tickle your fancy. And, in the unlikely event that they don’t stock the title you are looking for, magazine or otherwise, the helpful staff are always on hand to help you track it down.
For students Artworlds offers an all year round 5% discount (on the showing of a valid NUS card) and for those of you not wanting to stray from the comfort of your own home/studio they offer an online bookshop, complete with search facility and easy browsing.
