Daniel gained a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Nottingham, UK, in 2009, with a thesis on the interpretation of meaning in art that focused on the problematic case of a painting of shoes by Vincent van Gogh. Prior to that, he did an MA in Research that focused on the problems of forgery and metaphor in visual art, and a BA in Philosophy at Cardiff University.
Daniel is now based in London, where he works as a freelance philosopher and art critic. He is currently working on a number of projects and collaborations.
