Fed up of lying in bed awake at night, thinking about all the wonderful creative projects you could be working on if it wasn’t for this pesky little thing you have convinced yourself you need, called sleep? Well, now instead of wastefully tossing and turning, there is somewhere to go where you can work late into the night, be productive and defy your need for sleep with cups of coffee and midnight feasts. London Nightowl is a late night co-working club set up by Sarah Longworth and Mark Stephens, to give nocturnal Londoners a place to work, meet people and share ideas.

The first London Nightowl night took place at eOffice Soho in September 2010. Attendees that evening included a web designer, writer, digital entrepreneur and a photographer. Not only did they work, but the busy bees also found time to create a Spotify playlist and order pizzas.

After the success of this first meeting, future meet ups are being planned. London Nightowl events are free and anyone can go along, all you need is your own laptop, a project to work on and some matchsticks for your eyelids. For more information about the project, details about forthcoming meet-ups and information on how to reserve your seat, please visit the London Nightowls website.
